Hot In The City

For this tutorial you will need the following:

Paint Shop Pro, I am using PSP X, you should be able to use any version.

Tube of choice, I am using the artwork of  Ismael Rac, which you need a license to use.  At the time of this tutorial, the tube was not yet in the store, but coming soon. You should be able to find it later today or tomorrow.

I also used a couple elements from the matching scrap kit in his store that will also be out when the tube is released. The kit & tube are called 2013XGirl. You can find them HERE when they are released

Font of choice, I am using Impact & Dagobert

Plugins: Xero Porcelain

Just remember that my choices of papers and elements is just a suggestion, change it up and make it yours! You don't have to follow mine exactly.

Add a drop shadow of your choosing to tubes & elements throughout. I usually use 1, 1, 50, 5 unless otherwise noted.

Let's get started!

 Open a new canvas 850 x 850 white background.

Open city scene, duplicate, close the top layer.
Adjust, blur, gaussian blur 20, resize it by 115%
Open your top copy and duplicate it again.
On the top one, adjust blue, gaussian 3, change the blend mode in your layer palette to soft light.
On the next layer down, apply Xero Porcelain with the default settings, except change the blue to zero.

Open sparkles 2, copy and paste as a new layer. Arrange it over the upper part of the city scene.

Open your tube, copy and paste as a new layer. Resize by 55%, arrange so that her shorts are just below the bottom of the city scene.

Take your eraser tool with the hardness set at about 14 and erase the legs to get them just showing below the city.

Now take your text tool and write "Hot in the City" or whatever you would like to put instead.

Crop and resize
Add your name
Add your copyright and credits as needed
and then save
