For this tutorial you will need the following:
Paint Shop Pro, I am using PSP X, you should be able to use any version.
Tube of choice, I am using the artwork of Ismael Rac, which you need a license to use.
Scrap kit of choice. I am using Nicole by Amy Marie
Font of choice, I am using Scriptina
Mask: gemsmask172 from Gem's Taggin Scraps
I'm not finding that particular mask on her site anymore, but if you find some squarish
mask of hers it should work, just anything your like really will work. :)
Plugins: Optional Eye Candy 4000 Gradient glow for text
Just remember that my choices of papers and elements is just a suggestion, change it up and make it yours! You don't have to follow mine exactly.
Add a drop shadow of your choosing to tubes & elements throughout. I usually use 1, 1, 50, 5 unless otherwise noted.
Let's get started!
Open a new canvas 850 x 850 with a white background
Add element 95 resized 80%
click inside each frame with your magic wand (set on add/shift), selections, modify, expand 3
selections, invert, copy paper 1, and paste just above the white background, click delete on your keyboard.
Open your tube, copy and paste as a new layer resize 55%
element 61, resize 50% arrange on bottom left
element 52, arrange over tube
element 65, resize 50% arrange under other book on the left
element 88, resize 50% arrange on bottom right
element 67 arrange in the middle by the instrument
element 46, resize 50% arrange on the bottom in the middle
element 1 resize 50% arrange on top right
element 91 resize 40% arrange behind cat on bottom right
element 89, resize 35% arrange on bottom right behind cat
element 13, resize 30% place on top left
element 86, resize 60%, flip, arrange on left, behind tube, duplicate, mirror
Copy and paste paper 2 just above your white background
add your mask
crop and resize
add your copyright and credits
add your text and save
